Do you ever walk into a casino and wonder “Where do I start?” Slot machines can be very Intimidating. There are so many and if you don’t know how to play the game, it could be overwhelming.
The Buffalo Game is one of those games. There are several varieties of that game and each one is just a little bit different from the next. Although it tends to be one of the more consistent and higher paying slot games, some are better than others.
One of my favorite varieties is the Ascension Buffalo game. As you can see from the picture, there are 3 rows times 5 columns as the base game. The middle 3 columns can go up 3 more spaces each If you hit the Buffalo on any of those 3 columns, a stampede of buffaloes come running down and deposit extra buffalo into the spaces. The middle column is the super stampede and can send extra buffaloes. If you hit that one, you could hit the jackpot as well.

So, even though this is a Penny machine, you have a choice of five different denominations that you can play. $1,$2,$3,$4, or $5 per spin.
Now, of course, the higher your bet, supposedly the more you win. That could be the case, but on this machine, it’s important to look at your options before you start to play.

At the base of each machine, it shows you how many of the middle columns are up and the number of ways you can win. As you can see the $1 and $2 on the left have the most possible ways to win 2240. The $2 machine has the high column in the center though.
If I were to sit down at this machine, I would select $2 denomination to play. Now there’s no guarantee that this will be the winning machine, but it shows the most potential. There are times that you will find those numbers up well over 4000. That’s a really good place to play.
Here is something else to look for on the machine.

Sometimes one of the columns will have the win 8 free games X 3 or 5 multiplier. This is a really good spin to get. More free games are triggered every time to gold coins come up.
Try this game to see for yourself.
